CORE Scholars are students who have a passion for science, are dedicated to making a positive difference in the world, and are committed to fostering inclusive excellence in STEM education.
CORE Scholars Program rests on three key pillars:

Build an inclusive community of science scholars with shared passions and goals

Engage in STEM research and career exploration activities at UVA and beyond
Excellence
Pursue excellence at UVA both inside and outside of the classroom
It is time to not only look at STEM as a content in the classroom or a workforce development idea, but also something that can impact and inspire us in our everyday lives.
